ost couples consider wedding a once in a lifetime event and they do everything they can to make this moment perfect and a memorable one. They have wedding reception meals, toasts and a dance. Each tradition has its own way of going about things when it comes to a wedding. The Chinese, Indians, Italians, western society, all of them have their own unique way of performing a wedding and even having a wedding reception.

Many wedding receptions will feature a meal or a traditional meal rather. Some of them who would like to zero in on a menu or a theme and make the whole wedding reception itself conceptualized, like Chinese menu or a sea food menu exclusively. Wedding receptions may include a lunch or a dinner or both depending on the time available.

In many western cultures a toast for the bride and the groom is very important before or after the meal and this is usually paid for by the bride’s family. People who know the bride and the groom well will speak about them and before doing that they raise their drink glasses and ring it with a spoon and announce that they are going to make a toast for the bride or the groom, about whoever they are going to speak.

The dance which usually follows after dinner or sometimes even while dinner is also very important part of the wedding reception and din fact the most enjoyable part. Dance crowns the wedding reception event by bringing in some pleasant moments for the bride and the groom and the people attending the wedding. That’s what is more entertaining about a wedding. There are different dance styles and even kinds of dance which a couple can choose to perform. Some opt for the salsa and even take classes so that they can dance for their wedding reception.
