A casual wedding may be best for those who are not impressed with all of the pomp and circumstance they usually surrounds a more formal wedding. A casual wedding is also great for individuals who would rather not spend a ton of money on the wedding but would prefer to use some of that cash for perhaps building their first home, putting down a nice down payment or for furnishing their home. People who opt for casual weddings, maybe more interested in investing in the marriage than the wedding ceremony.

Casual weddings are typically much more a relaxed and provide an opportunity to let the love between the new couple be front and center and not the dresses, clothes, or wedding hall. When it comes to dress, a casual wedding allows both the brides, grooms, attendants and guests to be much for casual than at a formal wedding. A bride can where something, beautiful but comfortable. In fact she doesn’t even have to wear a wedding dress. She may even opt for some sort of pants suit. The bridesmaids, if there are any, may wear different styles of dresses that may only coordinated by color.

The groom and his attendants may opt for slacks, a collared shirt and a tie. However, a sports coat with jeans or khakis may also be appropriate. A casual wedding can place just about anywhere. One's home, a park, or the backyard are all acceptable options.

A casual wedding reception is a chance for a couple to have a little fun. They can opt for a ultra-casual reception and host a potluck and the guests being required to bring a dish. The bride and groom along with the wedding party, can cook up a couple of meals and have a sit down dinner in their new home. This may also be a great time to barbecue or have a picnic.

A casual wedding lends itself to a lot of flexibility, creativity and fun. The focus is on celebration of the love between two people and their very nearest and dearest family and friends.
