Beach
weddings are becoming quite trendy. This is because beach weddings provide the
opportunity to put together a fun, romantic wedding that is less expensive than
a traditional one. Beach weddings are great for individuals who love the
outdoors and the ocean. There are however, a couple of things that a bride and
groom will need to consider before deciding on a beach wedding.
The first consideration will be determining if they want to have a formal or
informal wedding. Beach weddings tend to be more informal, however they can be
formal if the couple takes the time to ensure that their guests have plenty of
space, proper seating and privacy. A couple will also have to decide what type
of beach they want to be wed at. Renting a private beach gives the couple an
opportunity to have a more formal ceremony. A public beach lends itself to a
more informal ceremony because the couple will be sharing the beach with
uninvited strangers.
A beach wedding requires less planning time than a traditional one. However, a
couple will still need to take at least a couple of months to properly plan the
ceremony. Any beach location that is being considered should be booked ahead of
time. This is because there may or may not be an applicable fee, and also to
ensure that the spot the couple has their eye on is available.
Another thing to consider is the location of the reception. A couple will want
to choose a spot that will be a close enough to the beach that travel won't be a
hindrance to the guests. A couple might also want to consider having the
reception catered right there on the beach. There are a couple of more things
that should be considered. One such thing is the photographer. It is very
important that the couple work with a photographer that is used to taking
snapshots outdoors. This is because outside photography is a bit different than
photographing subjects indoors.
If a couple chooses to use a public beach they must be aware that there will be
people present that are complete strangers. If that is not OK, then a couple may
want to rent a private beach. A couple will also have to be considerate of
whether or not a beach will be accessible to all of their guests. A beach
wedding may be a little more dangerous for elderly individuals whose footing
isn't quite as sure. Therefore, a couple should keep those things in mind and
make sure that the majority of theirs guest will be able to safely attend the
wedding. |
